As the Internet becomes increasingly available, more JSDT members share information and communicate with each other more often on the Internet. We made a decision to upgrade the JSDT web site not only to improve communications between members but also to present our suggestions or ideas to the general public and promote interactive communications between members and the public. To achieve these goals, we tried to add a variety of information to the existing web site, including summaries of the JSDT journal and annual surveillance results. However, this needs tremendous capacity, and it took about 6 months to put up additional contents and redesign the web site. We are now pleased to announce a new site! Although the site was improved to meet various requests as much as possible, we will continue to update the site as hardware and software advance. Be sure to tell us what you think of the new site or make suggestions for future improvements
